VINEYARD:
50 year-old single vineyard, “Tsintari”, located at Acropolis of Ancient Fliounda. South exposure and clay-loam soil.
VINIFICATION:
Cold maceration for 6 days and then maceration for 20 days at 20-25°C, in stainless steel tanks. Matured in French oak barrels for 12 months. Unfiltered.
CHARACTERISTICS:
The very low yields and limited production result in the complexity and concentration of Lexis Nemea. It has a deep ruby color with garnet highlights and a complex nose with aromas of ripe red and black fruits, notes of oak, vanilla, and sweet spices. On the palate, it is full-bodied with round, almost velvety tannins. Aromas of sour cherry, black cherry jam, coffee, and vanilla dominate. A long, vanilla-infused finish accompanied by sweet spices.
