NAOUSSA

Description

An aged red dry wine from selected vineyards of Naoussa. It has taken on the dark red color and exquisite velvety flavor after two years in oak barrels and another two years in the bottle. A wine with full body, ripe tannins and aromas of dried fruits and spices.

Selected vineyards, carefully harvested in containers of 20 kg, so as to avoid the inconvenience and breakage of the grapes during transportation. Classic method of red vinification with extraction in 5-6 days, at 28-30°C. Apodymosis and malolactic fermentation follows.

Characteristic tiled red color. Rich aromas of aging and wood that will be released after the wine breathes for a while after opening. Balanced wine with round full flavor and velvety mouthfeel. A lively wine, with a body, characterized by the abundance of ripe tannins and long aftertaste.
