VINEYARD:
Single vineyard, “Selkia”, at Leontio of Corinth, with Southern West exposure and clay-loam soil.
VINIFICATION:
Cold maceration for 7 days and then maceration for 20 days at 18-24°C, in stainless steel tanks. Matured in oak barrels and cement tanks for 12 months. Unfiltered.
CHARACTERISTICS:
Deep ruby color with garnet highlights. Intense aromatic bouquet of herbs such as oregano, sage, and eucalyptus, black fruit jam, sweet spices, olive, chocolate, and black pepper. Notes of smoke and leather. On the palate, it is complex with a full body, well-integrated tannins, and a pronounced licorice sensation on the finish. Aging potential exceeds 10 years.
