VINEYARD:
The ‘Boulougoura’ vineyard, 25 years old, located in Leontio, Corinth. At an altitude of 400 m, with a southwest orientation and clay-loam soil. One of the rarest indigenous varieties of the Peloponnese. In Nemea, the first plantings of this variety appeared far from its birthplace, Laconia, in the early 1990s.
VINIFICATION:
Typical white vinification in stainless steel tanks.
CHARACTERISTICS:
Its color is medium lemon with green highlights. On the nose, a complex aromatic bouquet dominated by quince. Aromas of pear and citrus, with floral notes of chamomile and jasmine. Well-structured on the palate, with intense flavors of stone fruits and quince, a hint of creaminess balanced by acidity, and a long, ‘lemony’ finish.
