VINIFICATION:
The winemaking follows the tradition of the region of Zitsa, where the marc is fermented with the must with indigenous yeasts at low temperature, for 40 days. This process results in the particular orange color of the wine and pronounces the varietal aromas of citrus, orange and bergamot. A small oxidation takes place. The wine stays with the fine lees for 6 months.
VINEYARD:
Calcareous soils with steep slopes, which provide them with good drainage. Altitude: 550-700 m
CHARACTERISTICS:
Amber color with aromatic complexity. Aromas of dried fruits, marmalade, citrus, orange, bergamot, honey, spices. Gentle tannins, balanced acidity and pronounced aftertaste.
